Create the Unthinkable
Hi, I’m Nic - an innovator, maker, 3D designer, and creative. At heart, I’ve always believed that having an idea is only the starting line; the real excitement comes from taking a concept, working through the design, and bringing a physical solution into the world. Whether I’m dialing in designs at my desk or out in the field testing gear, I live for the process of building tools that solve real problems.
The HyperPod 135 project was born directly out of that drive. I wanted to turn my camera lens into a dedicated, rock-solid telescope capable of capturing the deep night sky at F/2. When other off-the-shelf mounting options proved flimsy or full of compromises, I decided to design my ideal system from scratch. The first night I got the prototype running, everything changed—it opened up a whole new universe of possibilities. Now I had a mini powerhouse of an astrophotography rig at my disposal. Fabricating it myself gave me the freedom to rapidly iterate, test, and layer in features until it functioned exactly the way it needed to under the stars. Now I’m excited to share it with all of you too!
That experience reinforced something fundamental: being able to make things yourself is a genuine, real-life superpower. I started Thinkable to share what I create, teach others the workflows behind it, and help put that same superpower into more hands and minds. When you have the right tools and knowledge, you never have to settle for off-the-shelf limitations or compromise your vision. Thinkable exists to inspire you to think outside the box, dream bigger with your projects, and unlock the freedom to explore and create things you couldn’t before.
